DENPASAR, 15 October 2026 — The Bali Convention & Exhibition Bureau (BaliCEB) extends its congratulations to the newly inaugurated board of the Bali Chapter of the Indonesian Recreational Parks Association (PUTRI Bali), appointed on Thursday, 15 October 2026. The inauguration marks an opportunity to strengthen industry collaboration and promote sustainable, high-quality tourism in Bali.
BaliCEB Chairman, Dr Ketut Jaman, who attended the opening of PUTRI Bali’s Regional Conference (Musda), highlighted the close relationship between recreational attractions and the business events industry, particularly Meetings, Incentives, Conferences and Exhibitions (MICE).
He emphasised that business event delegates seek more than professional meeting facilities. Recreational parks, cultural attractions and leisure experiences provide valuable opportunities to relax, explore the destination and enhance their overall stay in Bali.
“Stronger collaboration between recreational attraction operators and the business events industry offers significant opportunities to enrich delegate experiences, encourage longer stays and increase tourism’s economic contribution to Bali.”

Enriching Delegate Experiences Beyond the Boardroom
“Stronger collaboration between recreational attraction operators and the business events industry offers significant opportunities to enrich delegate experiences, encourage longer stays and increase tourism’s economic contribution to Bali,” said Dr Ketut Jaman.
Representing the Governor of Bali, Dr I Wayan Ekadina, S.E., M.Si., Expert Staff to the Governor for Economic Affairs, reaffirmed the Provincial Government’s commitment to closer cooperation between government, businesses and local communities. He noted that Bali had recorded 4.58 million international visitor arrivals by August 2026, reflecting the importance of collective efforts in supporting the island’s tourism sector.
Alignment with Sustainable Tourism and Regional Development
The Provincial Government also emphasised tourism development aligned with Bali’s Nangun Sat Kerthi Loka Bali vision, focusing on cultural preservation, workforce welfare, economic growth, transport infrastructure and environmental sustainability. Maintaining green spaces and conservation areas within recreational parks remains an important priority.
BaliCEB sees considerable potential for closer cooperation with PUTRI Bali, particularly in incorporating recreational attractions into corporate incentive programmes, conference delegate activities, pre- and post-event tours, and accompanying persons’ programmes. Such partnerships can create additional business opportunities while strengthening Bali’s position as a leading international business events destination.

Building Productive Industry Partnerships
BaliCEB warmly congratulates the newly appointed PUTRI Bali board and wishes its members every success in their term of office. We look forward to building a productive partnership that encourages innovation, strengthens industry connections and contributes to the sustainable development of Bali’s tourism sector.
