BaliCEB Supports the Successful Delivery of Global Hindu Business Conference 2026

DENPASAR — The Bali Convention & Exhibition Bureau (BaliCEB) successfully supported the planning and delivery of the Global Hindu Business Conference (GHBC) 2026, held from 10–12 July 2026 at Universitas Hindu Indonesia (UNHI), Denpasar. Reinforcing its role as Bali’s leading destination marketing and convention bureau, BaliCEB provided strategic consultancy throughout the event planning process and deployed its experienced Show Management Team to oversee the successful execution of the three-day international conference.

Held under the theme “Towards Dharmanomics: Designing the Future,” GHBC 2026 welcomed more than 200 delegates from Australia, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Mauritius, Nepal, Singapore, and the United Arab Emirates. The conference convened an influential network of entrepreneurs, corporate executives, academics, government representatives, Hindu scholars, community organisations, media professionals, researchers, and emerging leaders to exchange ideas on ethical, inclusive, and sustainable economic development inspired by the principles of Dharma.

The conference was honoured by the participation of distinguished leaders and prominent personalities, including the Founder of the Global Hindu Entrepreneurs Network (GHEN), the Chairman of Prajaniti Hindu Indonesia, the President of Parisada Hindu Dharma Indonesia (PHDI), the Rector of Universitas Hindu Indonesia (UNHI), and Dr. Ketut Jaman, Chairman of BaliCEB, alongside respected Hindu scholars, business leaders, academics, and international delegates.

Their presence underscored the growing international recognition of Dharmanomics as an emerging framework for responsible business, sustainable development, and values-driven leadership.

A Welcoming Start and Engaging Dialogues

The conference programme commenced with an official Welcome Dinner hosted by the Governor of Bali, Dr Wayan Koster, at Jaya Sabha, the Governor’s official residence, on 10 July 2026. The reception welcomed more than 200 international delegates and provided an opportunity for participants to experience Balinese hospitality while strengthening professional relationships and fostering international collaboration ahead of the conference proceedings.

Across the three-day programme, delegates participated in keynote presentations, plenary discussions, business forums, business matching sessions, exhibitions, networking events, and strategic dialogues addressing the role of Dharma in shaping future economic systems. Discussions focused on integrating ethical governance, sustainability, social responsibility, cultural preservation, and environmental stewardship into business practice and public policy.

The Bali Unity Declaration on Dharmanomics

A significant milestone of GHBC 2026 was the adoption of the Bali Unity Declaration on Dharmanomics, a landmark international declaration that establishes a shared commitment to building an economic system guided by the universal values of Dharma. Entitled “One Dharma • One Humanity • Shared Prosperity,” the declaration affirms that sustainable prosperity must extend beyond economic growth to embrace ethics, social justice, cultural dignity, environmental sustainability, and compassion.

The declaration sets out eight strategic commitments:

1. Advancing Dharmanomics Globally

Delegates committed to promoting and disseminating the principles of Dharmanomics across communities, educational institutions, businesses, governments, and international organisations. The framework is intended to serve as a practical model for ethical, inclusive, and sustainable development while placing human well-being at the centre of economic decision-making.

2. Building a Global Movement of Action

Participants agreed that Dharmanomics should evolve beyond philosophical discourse into a practical global movement. Through collaboration, knowledge sharing, and resource mobilisation, stakeholders pledged to implement initiatives capable of generating measurable social, economic, cultural, and environmental outcomes.

3. Strengthening Cooperation and Mutual Respect

Recognising that sustainable development requires collective effort, delegates committed to fostering trust, dialogue, mutual respect, and strategic partnerships among governments, businesses, universities, civil society, entrepreneurs, and community organisations.

4. Launching the Bali Dharmanomics Pilot Project

One of the conference’s most significant outcomes is the establishment of the Bali Dharmanomics Pilot Project, positioning Bali as a living laboratory for implementing Dharmanomics principles. The initiative will involve government institutions, universities, businesses, local communities, and particularly Desa Adat (customary villages).

5. Creating Shared Prosperity for All

Delegates reaffirmed that future economic systems should place Dharma before profit. The declaration promotes ethical entrepreneurship, stronger local economies, community empowerment, environmental protection, and inclusive economic growth.

6. Inspiring Future Generations

Recognising the importance of long-term sustainability, the declaration encourages continued investment in education, leadership development, research, innovation, and community empowerment to cultivate future leaders guided by wisdom and integrity.

7. Integrating Economy, Culture and Sustainability

The declaration affirms that economic advancement must be pursued in harmony with cultural identity, social cohesion, spiritual values, and environmental stewardship. Dharmanomics promotes their integration as complementary pillars of sustainable development.

8. Building a Global Legacy Through Collective Action

Guided by the vision “From Unity to Action, From Dharma to Shared Prosperity,” the declaration seeks to inspire institutions worldwide to work collectively towards a more ethical, equitable, inclusive, and sustainable global economy.

A Lasting Legacy for Bali's MICE Industry

The successful organisation of GHBC 2026 reinforces Bali’s growing reputation as a leading destination for international meetings, incentives, conferences, and exhibitions (MICE). It also demonstrates how strategic collaboration between academia, government, professional convention organisations, and the private sector can create meaningful intellectual, economic, and social legacies.

For BaliCEB, participation in GHBC 2026 reflects its ongoing commitment to strengthening Bali’s position as a world-class business events destination. Beyond attracting international conferences, BaliCEB remains dedicated to delivering professional consultancy, destination expertise, operational excellence, and sustainable event management solutions that generate lasting value for clients, delegates, local communities, and the wider MICE industry.
